Well, what can I say?
This event was just too "fantastic" for words,
Roy getting his star at last, and it is right where
he deserved to have it be, just outside the door
of the Capitol Record building,
No one will have to walk the sidewalks searching for him, lol
Just a wonderfull event, with Roy's family, his many co-workers, and
a very good group of fan-friends in the crowd, wonderfull,
I am so fortunate that I was there to see it all in person,
I want to thank Barbara Orbison and all the many others who
put this all together, for ROY

HOW WONDERFUL TO HAVE THIS HONOR BESTOWED ON ROY. IT IS MOST ASSUREDLY WELL DESERVED AND THIS WAS ON MY BIRTHDAY TOO! WHAT A GIFT ROY WAS AND IS AND TO MAKE THIS DAY THE OFFICIAL ROY ORBISON DAY ALONG WITH THE STAR ON THE HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME, ON MY BIRTHDAY, IS A DOUBLE GIFT. I GREW UP LISTENING TO ROY AND I TURNED 56 ON THE 29TH. WHAT A VOICE, TALENT, AND MAN! CONGRATULATIONS ROY! I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU! I WAS SO HAPPY TO FINALLY SEE BARBARA HIS WIFE AND THE SONS. THERE ARE MANY SONGS OF ROY'S I LOVE BUT PERHAPS MY MOST FAVORITES ARE "IN DREAMS" AND "CRYING."

Wow thank you so much for streaming this on roy obison.com I live in Australia and have loved and admired the Big O since I was a child. So to be able to watch this is just awesome.

Wow, watching it seemed like we were there those of us who were stuck at work or home......so good to see Barbara, Roy Jr., Alex & Wesley together sharing this honor.......Mercy Roy would be so proud
