I missed out
Roy played in my home town when he toured Ireland (I was just a kic-must have been late 60`s) and he was backed by a local band who were a touring showband at the time. I recall being outside the venue on the night in question filled with excitement but realised it was time I should be home.

So near and yet so far Pat You certainly did miss out on the not seeing the greatest singer in the world
Join the crowd (those of us who never had the honor of seeing Roy live) ~ so close and yet so far....I was told some time ago that Roy was in Evansville, IN in 62, of course I was too young to drive or date (Class of 66) guess I might have been a freshman........but our love for Roy is the same ~ Evansville is 14 miles from where I have lived all my life.
