Lost single...?

Lost single...?

Hi,
This is something that's bugged me for a while. Back in 1996, Record Collector magazine published a Roy Orbison discography which listed a 7" single released in 1981 called "Until The Night Is Over" / "Long Way Back To Love". It was released on the WEA label (on which "That Lovin' You Feelin' Again" had been issued the previous year), with the catalogue number K 18432.
Does anyone know anything about this record?
I've certainly never heard of it myself, nor has anyone i've asked so far. Mostly the response has been that it must simply be a mistake, probably a record by another artist that got mixed up with Roy's list. I thought that was a likely explanation, but after a lot of searching on the internet, i still can't find anyone who has released songs with those titles, ever.
It just seems odd that this single actually "fits" with Roy's releases (i.e. the release date & record label fit with where Roy was at the time, and the catalogue no. fits chronologically), and just the fact that the song titles seem to have the right "feel" for a Roy Orbison song, it always makes me wonder whether this was a planned follow up single to "That Lovin' You Feelin' Again" which maybe was only issued as a promo and never commercially (similar to the "Living Legend" soundtrack album a couple of years earlier), or if there is another explanation.
I would be very interested to hear anyone else's thoughts or opinions on this, or if anyone can confirm whether this single exists, either by Roy or another artist.

Best wishes,
Ian B.

p.s. The single is also listed under Roy's entry in Martin C. Strong's book, "The Great Rock Discography" (first published 1994).

Good find Rocking solves that problem Just out of curiosity where did you find that bit of information

Thanks for the replies. I've had a quick look around for info on Roy Robinson, and although i can find reference to at least one single issued on WEA, in 1982, i've yet to find the titles in question. Do you have this record by Robinson, or can you post a link to the info? Would just like to have confirmation, and put this to rest for good.
Thanks again,
Ian
