I am Gene Dlouhy's son Guy. (Hangover bluez by Hard Labor Band) on You Tube. My dad Gene of Gene Dlouhy & the Canadians (83 years old & still on the right side of the daisies) toured with Roy in 1964 & 65. His band (Gene's) was the opening act for that tour in the mid 60's that stretched from Seattle Washington and a few other dates in the Pacific Northwest USA to soldout shows in Edmonton, Saskatoon, Regina etc. Between shows my dad had the pleasure of having some very personal conversations with the Roy man. Does any one remember a tour/concert in which Gene Dloughy and The Canadians were playing in it with Roy Orbison? It would have been after 1966 and probably in Canada. I have a concert programme, called The Big O Light Show. And it has no daes or details. But I don't know anything else about it. And I would like to Shock).
