Roy Orbison had the first hit with LOVE HURTS (it was also the B-Side of #1 hit RUNNING SCARED in America). It's this version that Nazereth copied for the version most of you know. Both Orbison and The Everly Brothers were signed to the same publishing company and friends of the Bryants. Technically the Everlys recorded it shortly before Roy. But this is the original ...
