An Amazing Insparation
Roy was a man who had a rough life and yet all though it every picture he is always smiling, some one so tortured on the inside but he never ever looked said he always looked ahead to the next good thing

Yes indeed he did Roy got thruogh all his good times and bad times through his songs, BTW Welcome to our Roy gang....
Roy was once asked in a interview, about the tragic events in his life, and how he managed to go on, He said, "I just take a step back, and put it on the back burner, to deal with at another time"...
It was Roy's spiritual faith that got him through it all.........
Hi Dalemonks welcome to our ROY group of FANATICS Yes you are right ROY didn't have an easy time of it in his early years
His career started slowly and he had a few setbacks then he signed with Monument and the rest as they say is history
His private life was a different matter as we all know the tragedies of 66 and 68 and the turmoil he went through at that time but he managed to come through those times Married Barbara and had another two boys
He had his faith and it saw him through it all A strong gentle man
That's one reason why Roy was (and still is) an inspiration to me.Many times, in hard times, I would always have it in the back of my mind, "If Roy could get through all that, I can get through this."
Same here Roy kept my dad going after he'd had heart issues ( often says its taken his tribute a tad far), And my own personal experiances Roys seen me through them.....
