Can you believe?
I've been surfing and was looking at books at Amazon.com and that ~ that piece of crap book Dark Star is selling for $110 new and $49.50 used.......the only thing good in the book are the pictures
Heck I got one I thought about burning, but kept for the pictures.......just rambling sorry friends

I agree blgmama, We bought that book for my Dad years ago and he said the same thing its, a load of crap, excpet for the pic's LOL.... He say's the same about most of the books we've got him on Roy he likes the photos but not the "Authors" version on Roy....Ahhhh take the photos out then burn it,

I Have read three books about ROY Dark Star a lot of lies and i mean a big lot of lies
Second book ROY ORBISON by Peter Lehman who is a fan of ROYS this book was not an easy book to read for me The invention of an alternative rock masculinity it delves into the mind and psyche of ROY AND HIS MUSIC I found it very hard going to read it
Third book which is like a bible to me in fact shares the same space on my bedside table as my bible Straight From Our Hearts written and collated by probably one or ROYS biggest fans Chris O'Neil from Australia a book made up of Chris's recollections of ROY plus stories from fans all over the world
Now you want the truth its in this book unfortunately not for sale on the open market
It was a labour of love for Chris and i as a fan of ROYS will be eternally grateful
