Gerry Grant Uk Roy Orbison Tribute
I am placeing this here, I am not sure how many of you know who Gerry is, But many years ago he appeared on a British televison show called Stars In Thier Eyes as the late Mr Orbison, and alothough Gerry continued to do many Roy shows, over the years his health deteriated, and he retired to Ireland, it is with much saddness I place this here Gerry as lost his battle with Stomach cancer and passed away a short time ago. Next to my own Father who also is a Roy Tribute act Gerry was one of my personal favorites, My thoughts and prayers are with his family, God bless you Gerry and may you rest in peace.

Gerry was good at what he did He had quite a good fan base and will be missed by a lot of people rest in peace Gerry
I met Gerry in Blackpool about 3 years ago, after watching his act, he told me he had met Roy who asked him to sing Running Scared with just his guitar, if you continue to sound like that said Roy I shall be pleased. There was so much likeness to Roy in Gerry, and like Roy if he went out minus his glasses, he was able to walk the streets in peace. I hope now he will be able to have a duet with the great man in heaven. R I P Gerry and Roy. Mercy
I hope this shows up, was having trouble before. Anyway, sad to hear about this. I have a dance-mix CD of Gerry Grant's which has been a favorite of mine for moving faster on the stairmaster!
I hate cancer! I lost a(nother) friend to it just over a month ago.
