Favorite duet
What is your favorite Roy duet? Mine is INDIAN SUMMER with Larry Gatlin.
Roy sang THE EYES OF TEXAS with Hank Williams Jr., kind of hard to imagine the 2 of them on the same stage!

Roy & k.d. lang has to be my favorite. Both of them were very dramatic & intense. Their voices blended well together.
So where can I find those duets? LOL
Of course I do have the one with kd Lang. Liked that,but have to admit, it had to grow on me. Roy was fantastic as usual, but when I first heard kd Lang...I winced a little...where Roy sings without effort and low key as usual but with great power...kd Lang at first appeared to me to be screaming from the top of her lungs and I kind of disliked that...but now after listenting to it several times it's growing on me. She has a fantastic powerful voice, I guess it was just kind of a culture shock because Roy sings so calm but powerful. I can't explain. LOL
Have to see where I can find the other duets mentioned.
There's a fantastic video on Youtube of Roy and K.D. Lang singing Crying on the Jay Leno show...my God it's powerful.
Paul I saw that clip. Great clip and great performance. Felt a bit sorry for kd because she was so completely ignored by Jay and all of Jay's attention went to Roy. I think it made Roy feel a bit more uncomfortable then he already was when doing interviews.
Hi Paul! yes, when I say K.d. & Roy, I meant "Crying". He said he picked her because of her big voice.
Hi Francina! there is a site called www.allthingsorbison, it has a list of just about all of Roy's songs and where each can be found. I have found it to be very helpful.
