Last Concert - UK Release

According to www.hmv.com, the "Last Concert" CD is due to be released in the UK on 26th July.

Where was the last concert?
Hi, the last concert was Dec 4 1988 at Akron OH.X
I read somewhere that it was somewhere else in Ohio.

Are you serious? Really? I just looked it up and saw that Highland Heights and Akron are 2 different places 40 miles away. Which one is it? Maybe somebody that really knows can reply.
Sorry Rockinbones, but if you look on the home page of this site under the picture of the Last Concert cd, it says in black and white "Akron, Ohio". Have a great weekend!

Just to clarify.... Roy's last concert was at the Front Row Theater in Highland Heights, OH, which is a suburb of Cleveland, located about 10 minutes from downtown Cleveland.
Akron is about 35 miles south of there, so the description on the CD is not really accurate.

Sadly the one that probably could have answered you easily is not available for a while. Ab Roos is our walking Encyclopedia when it comes to Roy and I mean that with the upmost respect.
I just used google to see what I could find on this.

seen on numerous occasions that it was Akron Ohio

Sorry, Rockinbones, you're right! Please except my apology. I guess that's what I get for reading the info on this site. You would think that they would be in the know!
They probably just copied the info that the company that released the last concert, Eagle Records put up, and never looked further. Remember this site is just run by an admin, who might or might not know as much as we fans. *grin*
One would think that we would find the right info here yes, but official sites can have their share of mistakes too I guess.
Well i,ve learned a lot reading these post,s, i took as read that the Home page new what they were printing........ wrong, you fan,s know farrrrrrrrr more, i,ll keep reading your info!!!!!
