It has always seemed a little odd to me that Roy didn't release any new material between 1981 - 1984, and after recently listening again to the interview Roy gave to Glenn A. Baker in 1980, i'm even more curious as to what happened. Towards the end of the interview, Roy confirms that he last left Elektra/Asylum, then goes on to say "There are a lot of people interested in me recording for them, and as soon as i get the chance i'll tie up with one of them, and try to get something before the end of the year". It seems from that, that Roy had no intention of taking a break from recording, so just wondered if anyone had any theories about what changed..?
