Got a question that I would like answered, Back in 1962 a Don Orbison and his backing group the Basics recorded a track called Time on Lavender Records. I cannot find any reference to Roy's brothers only a short bit about his dad, Was Don Orbison a brother of Roy's and any information about the same would be of great help. Don's voice is very similar to Roy.....Please help

It was this day in 1965 that I attended the Roy Orbison & Rolling Stones concert in Christchurch, New Zealand. It was at the Theatre Royal ans was amazing! I have never seen the Rolling Stones before and little did I know that both Orbison and the Stones were going to impact the music industry the way that they did. I will never forget it... Did anyone else get to experience any of the Far East Tour in 1965?

"MEMORIES" Yes the song says it all for us. Please go and play it and sit in silence and think of Roy. To use some of his own words "he gave the world a whole lot of joy now that aint bad for a country boy" I have a lot to thank Roy for. His music helped me thro the teenage years and I met my wife thro his music. Even today when I stumble to express thoughts I find a line coming into my head that most often comes from an Orbisong. I toured (by invite) with Roy for just 4 days and I was shattered!

It is hard to believe that 22 years ago, today, was Roy Orbison's last concert. In Cleveland, Ohio at The Front Row Theater would be the very last time Roy would perform. I would have loved to have be able to attend this show. Although it was his last performance, Roy will play forever through his music. Did anyone make it to Roy's last concert?

Today marks the anniversary of Roy's last concert. Even though it was his last, I know that it was one of his strongest performances ever. Thank you for being in my life, Roy.

So as another year has come and gone since we have lost the legend, Roy Orbison, I think that we should all share a our favorite story or memory we have about Roy.
